Can never understand this! Am in Australia so have never seen a real skunk or opossum, but I've alawys thought they were adorable! I LOVE rats, they are clean, sweet and super intelligent, and while I don't LOVE pigeons, I think they're pretty birds that make a nice sound.

I adore pigeons beautiful birds , and harvest mice doormice , to love em ,rats not so keen on lol ,but I live out in the stick surrounded by farm land so they come with the territory,least it’s not down to filthy homes n streets mind you , n my two little foster dogs are trained ratters working dogs , so since I’ve had them here gardens rat free 😋they gone back to the wheat field at end of garden phew ,but other than that I adore all animals ,humans NOT SO MUCH ,

Interestingly, there's research that shows that dogs and cats that have been reared with children recover from operations better than those who are not. This appears to be because they interfere with their dressings less. Basically they're just "Oh. I'm wearing a silly outfit again. Never mind" rather than "Aargh! What is this annoying thing get it off of me!".
