The Internet has made stalking super easy. Want to save your money on a private detective? Just google the person. Chances are, it’ll get you more info on them than a car with tinted windows could provide in a week. Imgur user PleasantSirPrize, for example, found their family’s physician on Twitter and the guy turned out to be hysterical. He’s constantly joking about mindless patients and everyday hospital life, and they wouldn’t have gotten that if they had been creeping up on him using the old methods. Running a license plate only takes you so far.

In an earlier post about witty doctors, Bored Panda has already proved that laughter is the best medicine. Luckily for Phillip’s patients, it looks like he has a never-ending stock of it. And look, we get it, saving lives is clearly one of the hardest and most stressful jobs on the planet. We don’t need a knock-knock joke if you can get the job done. But we sure appreciate it.

I like this doctor. I have run into too many that are so full of themselves.
The hand written prescription means that it's a controlled substance, and you have to physically go to the doctor's office for a new prescription for a refill every month. If we could find better medications and methods for dealing with chronic pain, we wouldn't have to prescribe highly addictive medicines as frequently.
The one time I was prescribed a controlled substance by an orthopedic surgeon, the prescription was printed on a fancy half-sheet certificate made out of bank note paper with an imprinted serial number. Printing it eliminated any chance of misinterpretation at the pharmacy.
