You're playing my tune! I have three 'my cats' (who live indoors) and a zillion of the 'not my cats' as well as a bunch of 'not my kittens'. I feed them and have water always available, but that is not enough or I'll have more than a zillion. Every so often, as I have the money, I trap a couple to take to the vet to get fixed. Once they come back, they are still 'not my cats' but I don't mind them.

I’m not 100% positive, since I don’t know where you live, but a lot of areas in the States have 1 or 2 days a month where you can get a kitty fixed for only $25. It’s their way of trying to fix feral kitties as a means of trying to cutdown on even more overpopulation without breaking someone’s bank account while they’re doing a good deed by helping to get feral babies fixed

Please just don't feed other people's cats, they can have dietary demands, intolerance etc. But if they are homeless that's good you feed them. Or if it's just water that is 👍 I'm just wakeful(?) of the kitties 😸
