I had almost all correct, except that they didn't allow for the native names of the capitals. It really annoys me when Roma, has to be spelled Rome, Bruxelles becomes Brussels, and København is renamed Copenhagen.
Same. Entering the English names in correct spelling was more of a challenging than knowing the names.
Load More Replies...Could you please allow different spellings? As already pointed out, if you put the native spelling it's incorrect. Quite annoying.
Didn't remember all the English names of the capitals. And why were only the English names allowed?
Additional question for those who like and can afford to travel: how many of these have you been to? (Me: 9 plus 7 which weren't on the quiz)
If going to Bruges via Brussels railway station on the Eurostar counts, then 11.
Load More Replies...Latvia and Lithuania, I apologise for mixing up Vilnius and Riga. But I know where your countries are located, if that makes up for something. (South to north, Poland, Russia (Kaliningrad), Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia )
He for once I got.them all correct,. Today is going to be a good day, the birds are singing at my window. The sun is out and I don't have to go to work. Have a good day Pandas!!
Technically we don't have a capital in Switzerland. 😅 Bern is usually used yet as far as I know it's not officially THE capital. Edit: the correct term would be "Bundesstadt" and bc the bigger part of our countries administration is located here it usually takes the role of a capital. 😁 We could however choose any other of our cities 🤣 which is why a lot of foreigners think Zürich is our capital 🤷♀️
Same spelling problems as most people. Also, Ireland should be the Republic of Ireland.
What others have said about the spelling/naming - it shouldn't be wrong to enter the native name for these cities. Also, I got two wrong which I wouldn't have minded - except that, oh yeah, I have actually heard of Riga and Bern. Oh well. 😁
The capital of the Netherlands is The Hague, and NOT AMSTERDAM (although that is the biggest city...)
The capital of the Netherlands is The Hague, and NOT AMSTERDAM !!!
20/20 I've only recently started learning the counties and capitals of Europe. I realised I didn't know where anything was. I thought that's a bit embarrassing a grown adult who doesn't know the counties closest to them. So I started learning the counties on a map of Europe then the capitals and I am currently learning the flags. So I'm pleased with my score.
Good for you! I’ve been trying to learn all the countries in Europe, then Asia and now working on Oceania and the Americas. I started on European capitals also. I don’t know why I find Africa so daunting!
Load More Replies...Better than me, I only got 15. If it changed since I was at school, then I'm in trouble
Load More Replies...Lol, had to rely on auto-correct for Reykjavik - otherwise, easy even for this dumb Florida Man :p
We Hungarians believe that our country matters in Europe, but we should realize that, while it's not even included in this little quiz, we are just a small, unimportant dot on the map.
Brussels??!! What its that??!!!! Capitol of Czech? For me Praha!! That is wrong??!!
