This second group is not hard to find. Entitled couples rarely hide their true colors — mostly because they genuinely believe their behavior is normal. This happened when I was home from college one summer and my dad's law firm hosted a party at our house - where Betas were the centerpieces on the tables. The caterers told me the fish were just going to be flushed afterwards. I was SO mad. I kept one for myself and gave away the rest to friends. My fish, Blue, went back and forth to college with me for the rest of the years I was there. Who the heck thinks it's OK to use live animals as decoration and then just k.ill them afterwards??? 😡

The costs listed aren’t completely unreasonable and are about what I paid for myself for my wedding day (dress and shoes were higher of course). Though, I didn’t ask any of the wedding party to do anything other than get a dress in a specific color and something they actually liked. My niece found hers for about$15 and I didn’t care, it was cute and the right color. Same with my Matron of Honor. The rest of my party consisted of my kids and we worked to find something that they liked as well. But keep in mind, my ceremony was only slightly dressy. And we didn’t care what anyone else wore because we just wanted them there because we loved them.

By the way: I had my wedding in 2005, 200 guests, live band, huge barbeque on a rented farm. It cost a total of 5000€ and was the funniest event ever. I would do it exactly the same way again at any time, I would recommend everyone to move away from the specifications of the wedding planners, then you don't have to go into debt.

My wife and I got married at the courthouse 25 years back. Cost bugger all and we're still in love. Can't beat that! The people in these posts are the worst, most entitled people I can imagine. The really dumb thing is that they will likely never know true happiness (which is really contentment) with such a shallow mindset. It'll take deep, hard work to untie the deeply flawed knot of a personality these people have formed, if it is even possible. So I just thank the fates that I've been spared from exposure to such people.
