Dad Goes Christmas Tree Shopping Without Mom, Decides To Troll Her With Hilarious Pics
Of all the dad jokes out there, this one’s a little bit more refined. When Imgur user eeplesandbaneenees85 came back from Christmas tree shopping, he decided to play a little gag on his wife.
Before he sent a pic of the purchase, the guy applied some Photoshop magic to it. Thus, the tree ended up looking too big for the couple’s home. Truth be told, his wife did an excellent job of keeping it together. Only one swear word!

There was a common belief in many places that evergreens would keep away witches, ghosts, evil spirits, and illness.
In the Northern hemisphere, the shortest day and longest night of the year take place during December 21 or December 22 and are known as the winter solstice. Many ancient people believed that the sun was a god and that winter came because it had fallen sick and weak. They celebrated the solstice because it meant that the sun god would start feeling better again. Evergreen boughs reminded them of all the life that would flourish again when the sun god was strong and summer would return.

I actually wasn't instantly shocked about the price because we live in the Bay Area and the average cost of a decent-sized tree is over $100. However, I would've been upset about having spent $190 if I then made him get rid of it! :)

true story that happened 2 weeks ago. my step-dad was planning on buying my mom a present, WHILE KEEPING IT SECRET THIS TIME, but my mom was planning to check his amazon shopping cart, untill dad's like, "IT WILL BE A SURPRISE THIS YEAR". 13 days later the gift comes and dad opens it, and lays it on the table unwrapped. mom comes home from work, sees the gift, and says, in a sarcastic way while holding the gift, "It WiLl bE a SuRpRiSe ThIs YeAr!!!" and my dad just standing in the living room like, "shut up....SHUT UP!!!". great start for the holidays

My parent's house has very high ceilings, at least 20 ft, so my parents always pick out a massive tree, and this year, the tree is at least 15 ft.

That really is some poor photoshopping, that's just cut and paste , no way she wouldn't be able to tell . Who doesn't click on an a photo that they get sent to see it in full screen ? Staged
