Labradors and Golden Retrievers are the most popular dogs in so many countries across the world, and it’s easy to see why. They are loads of fun, people-oriented, obedient yet curious and have a sharp intelligence that still shines through beneath their hilariously goofy nature.
Originating in Newfoundland, where they were first bred to help fishermen and hunters retrieve their nets and catch, Labradors are now commonly used as guide dogs and comfort animals for the disabled. Golden Retrievers are very similar to Labs, with slight differences between British, American, and Canadian types. They are all high-energy dogs, so they need plenty of exercise! They do love a cuddle as well though, and are always eager to please their humans. That's why we love them so much!

That's the personality of this golden, very shy, quiet. They all have different personalities just like people. But I've been through this. HOW do you pick just one? If I had it to do over, I would have got two that first day. They're like potato chips, you can't have just one.

he's a layed back loner, not interested in the lady or having anything to do with whats going on. she needs to pick the one that leaves her last, if at all. we shouldnt choose our pets they should be able to choose us. my beagle pup came up to me sitting indian style on the floor, along with 3 litter mates. she climbed into my lap, everyone played, then the other 3 left, she stayed in lap. maybe 10 minutes went by, the 3 came back and she didnt want them around, protected het spot in my lap. so she made the choice, i wasnt even going to leave with one, just needed a puppy fix. as i got up she followed and made the 3 didnt follow too close behind. that little girl saved my daughter from a not so friendly untrained pitbull, poor dog couldnt cry any higher pitch or run away fast enough! better than letting the guys beat it with baseball bats! she also raised and trained my rottie/golden retriever mix intact male, she was also in tact, but never let anyone mount her. she passed away earlie

You wouldn't realize by the much higher % of Golden retriever photos that Labs are by far the more popular breed.
