“I’m Doing My Best”: My Wholesome Comic About An Otter Who Overcame His Fears
I’m a Singaporean Otter! I work as a data-entry analyst and I like talking about topics such as people, relationships, psychology and anything I come across in real life. I have a wife and two kids, a teenage daughter, and a baby son. These comics are really a way for me to express myself and my life journey.
Last year was the most difficult of my life. But I realized something I’ll carry with me forever.
I previously shared my work on Bored Panda, and if you’re interested in viewing more of my content, such as comics on parenting and gender expectations, an illustrated discussion with my spouse about household tasks or more, please click here, here, here, here and here!

Load More Replies...Please don't bottle up your emotions. Talk to someone you trust. Remember, therapy is for everyone, not just those who think they need it.
Mental health care *is* healthcare, yet most insurance refuses to cover it. SMH, praying and hoping this trouble will end soon.
Load More Replies...I almost scrolled past this. Then something said "this might be for you"...and it was! Thank you Mr. Otter!
I really liked the one panel where you can see that everyone else is carrying fear as well, because, quoting Taylor Swift, "To me, 'fearless' is not the absence of fear. It’s not being completely unafraid. To me, 'fearless' is having fears. 'Fearless' is having doubts. Lots of them. To me, 'fearless' is living in spite of those things that scare you to death."
I have to agree with the war’s and with so much stress it can change us so quickly to where we are just in a full time worried and that isn’t good for our health so we should always think “we are doing our best, we are enough.
Didn't think an adorable otter would have me crying buckets of grateful tears this morning, but there ya go. Thanks, buddy. You're more than enough, too.
Everyone needed this, and gosh darn it you even got cold snape-snapey to feel warm inside.
Adorable! I love otters! Nice to know I'm not the only otter obsessed person out there.
From one messed-up Panda who enjoys wrestling way too much to the rest of the other Pandas here: You are enough. You are awesome. You will succeed no matter what. Much love and peace out.
Except those jars will break! It’s FAR better to RELEASE the fears by confronting them, or accepting them. Don’t “Bottle them up” because bottles break. You are enough. And fear is just a feeling, not a fact. There are people to talk to who can help you release, or if needed, absorb them as part of you and help you keep moving… 💕
