#26 is wrong. The tower is actually called The Elizabeth Tower. It was so named in honour of the Queen's Diamond Jubillee in 2012. Before that it was just The Clock Tower of The Houses of Parliament/Palace of Westminster.
The bell is offically called the Great Bell. Big Ben is a nickname given in honour of Sir Bejamin Hall, who oversaw it's installation. Calling the tower Big Ben is widely accepted in everyday conversation. Just like how most people don't refer to the Statue of Liberty by it's offical name of Liberty Enlightening the World, or call St. Basil's Cathedral the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos on the Moat.
Load More Replies...#32, I wouldn't know the guy (or his sport) if he was my next door neighbor. 😅
Yeah I had to try a few different sports until I answered tennis lol.
