They say the ugliest things to clients as they walk from their cars to the clinic entrance, irrespective of what services the clients may be seeking. Most are not there to terminate a pregnancy - not that it's any of the troglodytes' business to know - but could be looking for STI testing, contraception, hygiene products, or any of a number of other services PP offers at low or no cost. Volunteer escorts provide a friendly face and physical shield between the patients and the hate spewed by Jordan Hart and his ilk. And you know what? They're almost always MEN. If you think Jordan Hart's behavior is reprehensible, please consider becoming one of my compatriots, and volunteer to escort patients at your local Planned Parenthood.

And you are dehumanizing the mother, trying to force your will upon another and what they do with their body. You are trying to force women to carry unwanted pregnancies which is unnecessarily cruel to those women: to the women who were diagnosed with cancer while pregnant, the ones who dated a psycho BF who slipped the condom off on purpose when they weren't looking, the ones who are in an abusive relationship, to the women whose unborn babies are given a fatal diagnosis, to the ones whose birth control didn't work that one time, etc. Because it is not YOUR body, it is not YOUR choice. There will always be abortions as there have been since women discovered plants that are abortifacients. So, either women can do it safely by not making it illegal, or they can do it unsafely and risk their lives as well. Either way, no matter what your beliefs, it always comes down to the mother's life first because SHE will make it HER choice.

They fail. All of them. I had a IUD, it worked like a charm, for years. Until it didn't. I had done everything necessary to not have a child. So I went and did NOT HAVE A CHILD ! The reason why I did not want a child at that time is nobody's business and should not matter the slightest as it does not affect anyone but me ! And don't come at me with "murdering a child" ! I did not murder my child : I sent it back to where it came from, I begged it pardon and explained to it why I was making this choice and that I was hoping it would come back to me later when I would be ready to welcome it into this life WORTH LIVING. This is the big difference between so-called pro-lifers and pro-choicers : pro-lifers think any life is worth living, even a life of suffering and pain; pro-choicers want more and better for their children, and if they cannot offer it, they prefer their children to not be born at all rather than having a life that will purely SUCK !!

I had a debate with a male co-worker who is against abortion. I sat and listened and then said, "So if a woman is raped, you want her to be raped over and over again as she feels this child grow"? This child did not come into this world out of love. So she should deliver a child she never wanted/never consented to"? He just looked at me like the lights went on. I don't think abortion should be used as birth control but there are MANY, MANY reasons we need to keep this legal.
