This Actress Shows How The Game Of Thrones Cast Would Look If All Actors Were Black

It's thinly veiled racism. But since it's racism towards white people it's a double standard and most people will laugh it up as a joke. Just imagine someone re-casting Straight out of Compton or The Black Panther or Precious and the public outrage it would cause.

so true. some of it is reaching for straws or mixing Black Panther, but there are so many actors of color that wasn't in black panther and worthy. they're picking currently popular actors.

it's Bored Panda... we're all just killing time. This post is meant to kill time and spur ideas/conversations

No, you don't get it. This would require having intimate knowledge of these coloured actors to understand how they match. It's a fun perspective kind of how some people post how disney princesses would look on punk rock outfits or in modern times, or as accountants or some sht like that. I understand though how you do not have enough knowledge of any coloured actor and cannot match each character with the paired actor like haa! so true, fun stuff. ooh you're so right. haha, what a mtch.

I've seen lots of articles (Buzzfeed) of different shows and movies being recast and not just with actors of a different race. Just recast with anyone in general... Its just for fun, really.

Stupid much?

I don't like"The Color Purple" or "Empire", so knock yourself out. Actually, a white recasting of "Empire" would be fun which is all this is.

It would be if history weren't real. But history is real, so it's not.

I appreciate that you atleast acknowledge that you’re racist. I am an African born in Africa and I don’t agree with the black person’s views that you met in Santo Domingo and I also don’t believe in yours. And just as I know your views don’t represent the thinking of the majority of white people, the black person you speak of doesn’t reflect the thinking of most black people. The day we see each other as equal fellow humans just trying to live and persevere against life’s common adversities is the day that none of these skin colour related topics matter. Go in peace.

I don't even know where to begin with the ignorance of this comment. 1)White people aren't the reason why black people live outside Africa. There are African immigrants who aren't the descendants of slaves who live in Europe, Australia, USA, Canada etc. Even without slavery we'd still be everywhere. 2) White people don't get to profit off the backs of black people and expect to be patted on the back when they finally do the right thing and stop. Would you applaud a serial killer for ending a killing spree or condemn them for having one in the first place? 3) you say we'd be better off outside of Africa, but you're assuming every black westerner has a good live and every African has a bad life, which is not true by the way.

I guess as opposed to your relentless stupid, ignorant, arrogant, ignoramus signaling you do all the time. This code speak you like to bring up just makes you look incredibly copycat, derivative as f**k. Grow a brain. Pathetic loser.
