17 Famous Brands Get A Logo Makeover By A Canadian Artist To Better Reflect Their Brand Philosophy
Some might have you believe that creating a logo for a company is a fairly straightforward task, while in fact it is not.
A logo designer is not someone who merely creates a small typography icon upon request. It is a professional tasked with a responsibility to create an impactful indetifying mark, symbol, signature, or a combination of thereof that is unforgettable and easily discernable from the rest. A well done logo has to get the customer's attention by showing the company philosophy.
David Huynh from Canada decided to use logos from famous companies such as Nike, Adidas and Amazon to showcase his own interpretations in creative and lively illustrations.
"I started out in logo design and have always enjoyed the simplicity of logos. I decided one day to include a theme within a logo that represents the brand. The first one I did was Nike and Adidas, from there I kept going and people really liked them" - the artist told Bored Panda.

why not a man AND a women... aren't they supposed to be equal? This kinda depicts it as women being better than men. (I hope this doesn't offend anyone...)
Been working in the upper echelon of the European Technology industry for these last 17 years & even I have become a slight bit disturbed by the Power of Alphabet (Google).... Just like Facebook, Amazon, possibly Alibaba etc. these have become too big & too powerful, these companies need to be broken up by regulatory actions ASAP. Breaking up these global power houses will eventually allow more (local) competition which eventually will be beneficial to all end users (yes, that is YOU!). Break-up will (eventually) have a positive impact in end-user prices, better end-user (customer) service/experience, actual taxes paid in countries where offices/workforce is located etc. etc. etc. Cheers!
Please make this one permanent, Google (except on Doodle days, of course).
Mcdonald’s
Nintendo
Disney
they should have shown mickey being put in a juice machine and money pouring out because that is what they do
I don’t think a company that specializes in KIDS movies wants that as it’s logo
Disney's profit empire is becoming ruthless. Have you SEEN what they did to so many classic series? They don't care, they'll just get your money a different way.
Disney has come a long way from Walt's little studio. Not in a good way, either. Yes, this is appropriate, too. Creepy and dark.
Adidas
Adidas is far more that sports. That's what the brand most famous for. But the true philosophy of Adidas is "Enjoy nature"

Am I the only person who still likes pepsi better than coke? Like, one time my ice in my pepsi melted and the watered down pepsi tasted JUST like coke.
Gotta say, for me it's coke over Pepsi any day. I'm sure they've put something secret in it to make me like it ^-^

I personally find Pepsi horrible? Sorry? I'm definitely a coca cola person just how I was raised :)
TBH, my real preference is for RC Cola, because I lived down south (US) for so many years (no, I never liked Moon Pies). Unfortunately, I can’t find it where I live now, so it’s been years since I’ve had any—-hope they didn’t change their formula or start using that high fructose corn syrup poison or anything else that ruins the taste. Shout out to anybody living south of the Mason-Dixon to please let me know they haven’t ruined RC!

I don't get why the outrage is so cherry picked. Disney and McD's are very obviously negative (as are others) whereas other companies that definitely do lots of wrong (sweatshops etc) are just drawn in pleasant ways like Nike or Apple. Some are almost passive aggressive (Amazon). What's the artist really trying to say here? It's extremely inconsistent.
I agree. The artist is using the logos to make moral judgments about the companies and/or products. How is Apple morally superior to Disney? Amazon v McDonalds? What's the message?
