We live in Southern California, where fourth-generation Mexican-Americans born in Pico Rivera who don't even speak Spanish get snatched by ICE. I don't get it. I'm white af (I'm adopted) and *I* could see how poisonous he was going to be to M family members. Sometimes the white racists aren't even the most awful - it's the Hispanics who are proudly Republican and are proud MAGA Trumpists that scare me the most.
