I Photographed Betta Fish In All Sorts Of Colors And Patterns (35 Pics)
I present you with a photo album called "Betta Fish".
I started photographing betta fish in the middle of 2015 and continued until now. Betta fish are amazing, you can find them in all sorts of colors, their tails are like dresses, all of them have different patterns, and it looks like every one of them has a different mood and character. Betta fish are strong and easy to handle and feed.
Is it difficult to take photos of them? No, you only need to place a flashgun over a small aquarium and a reflector directly underneath to diffuse the light and trigger.
Betta fish are not expensive but you can get a priceless picture when you photograph them.

GORGEOUS...I have 6 males and one female. I like to take their pix, too, but none as good as yours. I love their personalities!!!
Please know not to have more than one male in a tank! They will flight to the bitter end. Personality: I used to have on Betta that came to my finger and let me pet him.
Load More Replies...I'm a betta breeder. Bettas are beautiful enough, stop photoshopping extra folds and layers into their tails
Can I purchase your images? if so where do I find pricing and sizes?
Betta Fish are beautiful, but I signed - like - a hundred petitiion against their live shipping to the customers yet. That´s animal abuse, many of them arrive dead.
Timelapse of it turning I have betta fish had many for 30 years and played around with my phone camera a few times and got this (not as good) to happen
WoW! So why do people think it's ok to keep Beta fish in very small aquariums or worse keep them in plastic cups? I just don't understand that type of thinking. Saddening ..'
The bigger one is what our betta looks like, I’m also assuming their a breeding pair.
The one with short fins is female, males don't attack females that often
Load More Replies...It kinda looks like a mix between china sets and koi fish.
Load More Replies...usually beta fish price ranged from 14~18$ but some really Exquisite/Beautiful/Big Contest winner can be priced above 500$ and the highest price ever recorded is 1530$ sold at online auction because it looks like a national Flag (my source, google)
Load More Replies...Pink-ish and perfect... Another win for males wearing the color to perfection.
Nie widziałam aby dwa samce tak zgodnie pływały w jednym akwarium. Raczej stoczyły by walkę na śmierć i życie.
Love or about to fight to the death for the sake of a photo op smh
Why are 2 males together? I hope they weren't put together just for a photo op because they are going to shred each other to pieces
Except for bettas can’t live together so i hope this isn’t their full time enclosure.
I'm getting some tetra fish soon, after them I will definitely get a betta!
Beautiful Looks like my Wayne. Named him after the Petco employee who suggested him to me!!!
As beautiful as Betta Fish are, please never order them online/per mail, go to the next pet shop and take them home to the aquarium yourselves, the live shipping ends deadly for most of them.
I love bettafish. I got myself a new one on the 25th august. Pretty sickly and skinny with not much shine. Gained a little light blue shine on the 29th. Now 17th of December he is almost 3 times the size he was and just a round fish who have learned to knock the rocks to the glass to get my attantion when he is hungry(24/7). bettafish-...f4033e.jpg
These are all males, so I hope that the shots of two fish in a single bowl are shopped. Male bettas are glamourous to attract females and to warn off other male bettas. If you put two males in a tank together, they will kill each other. They need to be sequestered from all other fish. They're aggressive little monsters...even if they are gorgeous. ...///... They're easy to maintain. I give mine three little kibbles a day (they're tiny), and change out his water once a week. They DO NOT like runnig water - and they aren't the most efficient swimmers, either. They have a life span of 3 to 3 1/2 years, although I've had a couple of them who made it to four.
They can live in community tanks and filters, running water are fine, just not high flow.
Load More Replies...Beautiful! I like it when Betta fish are treated like fellow creatures and their needs are considered. I worked with someone who would put a Betta fish in a tiny glass bowl as decoration for their desk. They gave up after three in a row died within two years.
That's animal abuse (even if it's out of ignorance)
Load More Replies...I never knew this fabulous fish even existed. As an artist your photographs are a blessed inspiration. Thank you.
I never knew these fabulous fish even existed. I am obsessed. As an artist they are such an inspiration.
Bettas are awesome. Of my current herd, Horatio is a little slow on the uptake, but he's quite the character.
