I was and will remain a "daddy's brat" as he called me. I had a chair with my dad's picture and a bouquet of ivory roses laid on it next to my mom. At the reception I had his picture set at the table with mom and she and I had the father/daughter dance in his memory. My bouquet was made up of his favorite flowers he had planted and grown. I wanted his memory as present as possible and wish I could have done more. It will soon be 24 years since he passed and it doesn't get easier, just gets easier to tolerate. I miss you, Daddy, and I love you so much. RIP Daddy, 1948-1999.
