“I Hate It, Thank You”: 95 Funny Tumblr Posts And Memes From A Platform Some Thought Was Obsolete
Justin Bieber's performance at Coachella 2026 left many of us with all the nostalgic feels. We were teleported right back to a time when we were young, and wild and free. The 2000s brought us many things: Bieber Fever, YouTube and a bunch of other social networking platforms. Some grew with us, others seemed to slowly fade into the background.
But just like Bieber, Tumblr looks to be making a massive comeback. And just like Bieber, it's doing things on its own terms. The chaotic, chronological, and non-filtered environment is exactly what's appealing to many people nowadays. It's gone from "obsolete" to popular again, almost overnight.
There are even online spaces dedicated to sharing the best posts from the platform. The Tumblr Showcase is one of them. It focuses on funny memes and has more than 50,000 followers laughing at a gallery of comedy gold. Bored Panda has put together the best posts from the page for you to scroll through when the other stuff gets too much.

My wife and I worked in healthcare. One thing we did was have a severely autistic young man come live with us. His parents were still very much involved but wanted him to try to have his own life, albeit with caretakers (us). He was such. a. joy. to have in my life. I can't begin to tell you the things this young man taught me about just being human. Anyway, he loved kitties, could not remember to shower or simple daiuly life things although he did ok. His "Savant" was computers. We had just went from DOS to 3.1 and wow. He could code anything, eyes closed. Tell him what you needed and is 3 minutes you would have a fully functioning program that did what you asked only better because, well, he knew. I went from not knowing how to turn a computer on to learning, html, python, java, built my own personal linux distro just to suit me. Became a linux network admin for a large local newspaper. All because I met this humble, meek, autistic young man. Love & Miss you Eric. Edit: Yes I see the mistakes in grammar and spelling. I'm not fixing it. It's too early and I may be having a stroke. Either way. dgaf. Good Morning.

I put it this way. I share 98% of my DNA with a chimpanzee and 50% of my DNA with my sister.

In Estonian folklore the hare is one of the most common forms of the devil and figures in at least two horror stories (a la the rabbit in The Holy Grail). Interestingly the wolf is called St. Georges puppy and portrayed as powerful, but neutral/good.

Every member of society should be required to work retail. The rich should work retail during the holidays. Customer service workers would be treated better if everyone experienced the joy.

These woodpeckers are territorial and do this to scare off other birds/competitors from the feeder. Their tongues are barbed, so are quite an effective weapon

I did something similar a long time ago. I brought my mp3 player and a pair of headphones on one of my hikes and listened to "Wind Guide You" from the Skyrim soundtrack when I had reached the top of the (smaller) mountain and slowly made my way from the ascension point to the lookout point. I'd normally choose the natural ambience on a hike any day if the week, but I'm still glad I brought Skyrim with me at least once in my lifetime.

At the train station I used to use for school one side of the station had a stop for the bus coming into the city centre and the other side was the same route leaving. For some inexplicable reason, whenever I took the incoming bus and rode it round it was on time and had no issues but if I chose the outgoing bus stop it almost always had huge delays. I never worked out where the buses were disappearing to.

"I'm not the one carrying on a passionate yet illicit affair with the daimyo's daughter whose hand has already been promised to another" What a poetic way of saying having an affair with a taken person. Shakespeare is still alive after all.

Kinda glad I never watched that show because it sounds like it really went off the rails in the end.
