Once it was the favourite book of my grand-grand-aunt (sister of my grand-grand-father) and was all worn down as I found it in a box some 10yrs ago. I did an apprenticeship as a bookbinder and asked my boss if I could restore the book in our workshop. This is the result! Sooo proud of me! :)

Should be "accounts" But I can't change it. The stories of living in a large city during the heat of summer are eye opening/watering.

Actually it's been handed down through my mums family for generations. It's our version of a family bible. As my nan always said " you'll learn more about morality and the human condition from Shakespeare than from any bible". She was a wise old bird!

I and my adult daughter listened to it on a long drive. "what's a tuppet pan?" I agree it is a good book.

I hated the word Groovy when it popped up in the ‘60s, but in the past few years, it has become my favorite approval word…my least favorite is what I call The A-word, which is the most overused word out there for what seems like far too long. I hate it with a passion!

Purple is my favorite color, and I like how in this it complements the richness of the door’s brown.

Back when it was still legal, I took a bunch of mushrooms on one of Thailand’s islands and I tripped to hard that the ocean and the rocks looked like they were of Peruvian design. That was definitely a trip within a trip. I’d love to try Ayahuasca someday, and I’ve also never had peyote. I love psychedelics, but because of the one bad trip I had, I don’t like to take them without someone around or who will always be available by phone to talk me down should it ever happen again.

I've always loved the psychedelics too, unfortunately, when I was younger they didn't have as much of an impact on me as they did everybody else. I could always shut the trip down and be normal if I had to so I was always the designated sane person in the crowd. I didn't mind making sure my friends were all safe and looked after but it would have been nice to have an incredibly intense trip, at least once.....

I loved algebra and hated geometry. I’ve been thinking of relearning algebra to see if it’s as much fun as I remember it being.

That's really ( no sarcasm intended) awesome. My high school algebra teacher is absolutely the only reason why I didn't fail the class. I really struggle with algebra, geometry, and calculus. He had a classroom set up in his home for tutoring. He would let me come over and do my homework or study for tests, etc. He even let me come over when I started college and helped me with my college algebra so I could pass. This was some thirty years ago and when he sees my parents, he'll ask how I'm doing. Just the nicest man! Thank you Mr.Ngar!
