We all have those days where we look in the mirror and don’t like what we see. Well, Twitter user Alex Durog took to the platform to write a thread for her girlfriend in honor of their anniversary and it shuts down all of those negative ideas.

Funny thing is, I hate pictures of myself caught off guard because I think I look really ugly in most of them. I have like the most stupid smile ever and always have my eyes closed and look like 2x fatter than I think I actually am. So this isn't really working for me. ;D

The camera adds weight, among other things. If it's any consolation, I'm no looker, but I stopped caring a few years back. I realized that my husband was drawn to that something extra that can't be conveyed in a photograph.
