Sometimes, finding the perfect wedding dress seems impossible but this bride faces the opposite problem. Sylvia Martin, 93, is marrying her long-term friend Frank Raymond, 88, in July but she can't decide between her most favorite gowns. So, she asked the internet for help and we're here for her!
The story started when this great-grandmother from Canberra, Australia, went shopping for an ideal gown. She tried on a number of dresses but 4 of them were Sylvia's absolute favorites and she couldn't pick which one to choose. To help her, somebody took the discussion to Facebook where they posted a picture of Sylvia posing in all of the dresses and asked their followers which design should the classy lady choose.
The post also said that Frank has asked Sylvia to marry him many times. "Sylvia has always refused, thinking that to take a new surname would be disrespectful to her deceased husband," it said. "A year ago, Sylvia took ill and moved to Canberra to be near her family, and Frank thought all hope was lost. When Sylvia recovered, she found Frank, who was living in Adelaide, and convinced him to move to Canberra to be with her. Frank arrived a couple of months ago and again asked Sylvia to marry him. Sylvia had learned that you can keep your own surname when you marry, and so said yes."

Absolutely smashing! Femine, flattering, modern and a touch of drama. A warm and very festive red color! Skip the pearls and go for something delicate long, in gold or silver, or better yet: skip a necklace and wear earrings with a little dazzle instead. You're gorgeous!

Agree that this is the most special, dramatic as a wedding dress should be. The others are nice enough but not so different from what you might wear to any event. Color is also the most flattering.

This is the one! Not a lot of little fussy bits, just a swoosh of glamour. Also, the solid color is best for setting off you, and whatever jewelry you choose, and not fighting for the attention.

I love A, but D is pretty too. But you choose the one that speaks to you the best. You're the bride and whichever dress makes you feel the most beautiful, is the dress you should go with. I know you're 93, but the floral print dress just makes me think "Dowdy". But again, you're the bride and if any one of these really makes you feel like the bride you are, then go with that one.

I like this one best! But it depends on what style you're looking for Sylvia. This dress is more glamorous and a little bit sassy. It's more fashion forward and the brighter shade of red is so fun! Don't wear pearls with it. It needs sparkly jewelry! I also like dress A, but it's a much more simple, elegant design. The darker shade of red and simple silhouette states elegance and class. So how do you want to feel on your wedding day? Glamorous and exciting (maybe even a little sassy), or elegant and classy?

With no hesitation, but not at all,....!!!! First this red is perfect,..the others are really,... dull. It's a big difference. The look is elegant, feminine; a lot of style it's the most chic, atcually, modern but not to much, and finally, lot more sexy on you than the others,... but no vulgar at all, of course, - cut the handles between the elbow and the wrist. I do agree that'd be better with a gold necklace ( a vit less longer), it shines better on the red,.. white calls any kind of,..flag, you know, and nice gold earings... with a touch of modern like a geomatric form. Just beautiful; actually this one is perfect! The three others are just a mistake.

B and C too busy, A is eh - hem is distracting. Definitely D which highlights your face and not B or C's pattern; or the 1/2 and 1/2 style and severe neckline of A. I also agree with Sara Jane's advice for D's ultimate flowing, unbroken look.

A because it has great color for her complexion, great fit, stylish, and shows off her sassiness! B has good color. C and D simply don't show off her youthful and playful and sassy essence.

I'm torn between A & D; they both are "simple" yet timeless. The lacy one detracks from her beauty & the floral is just......no words to describe it. And the colors of A & D are good for her.

I think she should choose A. B is also okay. C is too old looking , yeah, I know she's old , but she's sassy. And D is just too frumpy and makes her look heavy.

Well first off, I want to say this lady looks to have a personality that is 1 in a million! Congratulations!!! Second of all, if the wedding is in July it is going to be pretty warm out, so wearing something with less sleeves will be best. 😊 third, I absolutely love dress C! Very beautiful dress for such a radient looking women. Keep strutting your stuff! You have the best day of your life ma'am! While B is a more modern look with patterned fabric, I think the C choice is more flattering and I like the look of lace in a wedding.

A. She looks stylish and elegant in the first two. All of the dresses are lovely in their own right but not all have the same impact on her. The last two - esp. the print make her look typical - a bit dated. I wish the happy couple the very best - I love the spirit. As long as you have life, LIVE!

At 93 you look amazing in all of them but my advice to you isn't to ask everyone else which one looks best ... it's to ask yourself which one makes you feel good, which one makes you feel like your in your sexy twenties again, which one makes you walk an inch taller just because you feel so damn good in it , which one feels most like you.. on your wedding day ... it's not about what everyone else thinks looks good... it's about what makes you feel radiant and that is what everyone will see on the day ... best wishes and congratulations 💖
