I felt Emily didn't try hard enough. She was entitled, jaded and aloof to the point she almost blended in with everyone else. Andy was, in the eyes of the fashion world, cutting edge and revolutionary. More than Andy knew or tried. Whereas Emily hung around the office gossiping and trying to put down Andy, as if Andy was a threat. If Emily was confident enough about her position and what she meant to Miranda she wouldn't have treated Andy like a HS mean girl. Emily was trying to be like Miranda. Employers love to be the only authorities. So Miranda would have been noticing Emily over-stepping her position of rank. This is observed in the beginning when Emily was explaining to Miranda how she was cross-interviewing Andy but Miranda blowing off her conclusions because the last few people Emily chose were not good enough. This tells us Emily doesn't have the right mindset Miranda wants for an assistant, but Emily is such a fan of Miranda that she knows how to train new assistants.
I have just watched season 3 of Only Murders in the Building and Meryl Streep is in it. I have never really watched her on screen but after seeing her in this she is exceptional. I was shocked by how deep she made her character even in this black comedy/mystery show. Iconic
It is physically and emotionally painful to realize the "old mean woman" I watched growing up is (the character anyway) 10 years younger than I am now.
First Disney movie depicting royalty as a "real job", representing and advocating for the people.
Go would have guessed that teenage girls would have an accurate idea what is like to be a teenage girl...
Shrek: Ogres are like onions. Donkey: They stink? Shrek: Yes. No. Donkey: Oh, they make you cry. Shrek: No. Donkey: Oh, you leave them out in the sun; they get all brown, and start sprouting little white hairs. Shrek: No. Layers. XP XD
What if you're, "M-I-C-K-E-Y, M-O-U-S-E, MICKEY MOUSE! donald duck, MICKEY MOUSE! donald duck." years old?
Why is this called 90's kids when the vast majority of this list is early 2000s, maybe 1 or 2 very late 90s. Only one that's from mid '90s would be Friends which most younger kids wouldn't have watched because of adult themes. Like, where is The Secret World of Alex Mack, Clarissa Explains it All, Boy Meets World, Home Improvement, ect?
What I remember the most from the '90's was Cartoon Network. "Rocko's Modern Life", "The Angry Beavers", "Courage the cowardly Dog". Even "ReBoot" was more of the '90's than 'Friends'
The series I remember watching as a teen in the nineties were a.o. Parker Lewis Can’t Lose, Ferris Bueller, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, The Genie from Down Under and Round The Twist.
