I wanna have back the prices from the 90ies back in general. Rent, insurances, taxes and the list goes on
I agree. It was the dawn of a new era. Away with the old dictators and wars, it's time for the new generation. Ya and then 911 happened and here we are today seemingly on the brink of a World War and we even repeated a global pandemic, while our generation is not in charge of anything anyway.
But without the mishandling of toxic chemicals, we wouldn't have the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Me in my 30s without any reason... I hope I never stop being a kid :D
i felt like a king. do not underestimate the powers of the all mighty plastic chairs.
It was real and there was a contest to own that house. It was a huge thing back then. The inside was completely styled and furnished like the cartoon show.
I'm so old that I remember being very excited because my new phone had polyphonic ringtones! My first camera phone had a detachable camera. It was VGA quality and I walked round pretending that the pathetic grainy photos I took of my friends were the best thing ever.
I always thought I was cool when I added sunglasses, because he was too bright for even himself.
This is what the Predator sees looking at me sitting in my chair doing nothing
... every motorcyclist should avoid driving behind any load if possible. A lawn-collector-box once took of from the trailer in front of me, and not hitting it only is a result of luck including aerodynamics - it REALLY took off and thereby gave me the time I needed to avoid contact.
These days, scan the QR code, input your name and email, the name of your firstborn, how many pets you have, do you own your home, how many children do you have, does my bum look big in this....
So apparently, those markers were always dry because you're supposed to add water to them. Who knew??
do people not do this anymore? i thought it was something every parent did
How about jelly jar cups or if you're classy the Batman glass ones from McDonald's
I'm "who's that robot dog, and why is there a police box in the backyard" old, but I never actually got to go to the year 3000. It's kinda cool that my son is also police-box-in-the-backyard old, now.
If I remember correctly, both versions (classic and Rides Again) had an episode where they did, indeed, wind up in someone's äss.
Yes! I can still smell all of these in my mind. My fave was watermelon and the mint one actually tasted minty. Also, kids always getting marker on their noses from smelling these too closely(◔‿◔)
I hate to say it but I bought a bike just so I could look like cloud strife one day...
They play White Zombie here on the Classic Rock station at work...
Ask some people and they’ll say it was the 50s or 60s. Nostalgia is a powerful drug.
All of the fun looking buildings in the 90s are “modern” now (modern obviously being a code word for “depressed middle aged man”)
Gotta hand it to the ad exec that listened to "Mack the Knife" and heard "Big Mac tonight." Or institutionalize them. One or the other.
my friend got this as a goodbye gift when she was moving away!
Saw a woman who colored her hair using this fish as inspiration yesterday and had to look him up to prove it to a coworker.
I’m intrigued by the use of lower and upper case letters in their handwriting. So chaotic.
I had actually forgotten all about this. After walking through the nature trail covered in poison oak then through the several feet high mid walk, your lunch was trash if you had run out of foil and just had warm cooked to drink.
I remember going to the small arcade in Smitty's {closed in 99} when my grandma would get her checks, and she would buy me a Cinnabon {before they were big} and money to play it, I would spend 5 hours there playing as she just shopped talked to friends and let me do as I pleased {my aunt/mom worked across in the candy area in the same store and she would visit with my mother}
For, it was more drinking at 14 and having to go to rehab at 27 😬 43 and still sober yet
Oh one of the kids I babysat had these and she was always tripping over herself when wearing them!!!
I'd like to see this with countries other than the US as a lot of these are synonymous with the US. Just interested to see what was big in other places and if they were also a thing here.
The UK is really similar. Different TV programme references, but largely the same.
Load More Replies...It’s like they think the only people on the internet are ten year old kids who got raised in a cave.
