What was meant to be a routine 7-Eleven shift turned violent for Jessica McLaughlin, whose store supervisor allegedly attacked her and sat on top of her, preventing her from breathing.

Her family is now preparing to take her off life support after Jessica was left brain dead from the attack.

“People are just heartless,” one commented online.

Like any other normal day, Jessica went for her shift at the 7-Eleven store in Hollywood on June 24.

But things took an unexpected turn just as she was wrapping up work and preparing to go home.

A verbal argument allegedly erupted between Jessica and the assistant manager, according to her brother Sean McLaughlin.

Sean told KTLA 5 that the assistant manager was antagonizing her and even turned violent.

The supervisor, Valeria Parra, allegedly threw a bottle at Jessica before pinning her to the ground and sitting on her.

The act led to the alleged victim losing oxygen and becoming unconscious.

“Jessica walked into work expecting a normal day—but instead, she was violently and senselessly attacked by one of her managers,” her brother said

Can't imagine how a manager could possibly think they could attack an employee and keep their job. With that kind of uncontrollable anger, she needs to be kept away from the public for a long, long time. How stupid and how tragic.

What the FÜCK is wrong with people? Seriously, don't they ever understand how severe a situation they are just creating, and worsening with every second they go on? I don't understand this, I don't see the point in this, there was no danger to prevent, nothing to protect, even more, the only danger worth being prevented is that stupid store manager, from ever having the chance to do such again. She won't evade anyway, as people who flee unprepared, hardly have anything, well, prepared. She'll be caught within a few days, and, hopefully, will be charged for murder, and more than likely, serve a life sentence. Don't see how anything less could even be considered. This is murder, downright cruel, cold blooded murder.

If Luigi Mangioni gets the death penalty, this manager deserves 2 death penalties. Or do the "lords" we live under deserve more than the laborers?

Handcuffs? NO. This is just another example of how criminals have rights and victims have none in America. This person needs to immediately receive Guy Fawkes punishment. No trial, no jury, just straight to their punishment. People like this need to know they can't just do whatever they want and walk away. When people fear the punishment, only then will they think twice about their actions. And businesses need to stop promoting people who are not qualified for the position. Bullied before the attack? The DM, RM, and everyone in authority over that store need to be charged with accessory to murder for not doing anything about that lunatic long before now.
