Ever wondered what hides under that final coat of paint on a wall filled with graffiti? How about a wall that was painted over and over for 30 years? Well, you’re about to get your answer.

Imgur user PaulDeGraaf has uploaded his detailed analysis of a segment he peeled off of a Graffiti Hall of Fame called “Doornroosje” in the city of Nijmegen, the Netherlands. “What started as a 70’s Hippie cult place, became a center of music and art in the early 80’s,” PaulDeGraaf writes. “One of the first places where it was legal to smoke cannabis. It still a Music studio and Graffiti Hall of Fame. The building is surrounded by walls that are all spray painted from top to bottom.”

Scroll below to uncover what does 30 years worth of graffiti looks like when smooshed into a single stack of layers.

Tagging over the top of decent graffiti is disgusting. Why ruin such beautiful work with such ugly vandalism? So disrespectful to the artist

im sorry, but i call BS, i dont think its possible for this to be from the brick wall shown as such thick layer would prevent the brick outline to be still this much visible.
