Winter In Iceland

I come to Iceland several times in year, but my favourite season there is winter. Why winter, when there’s darkness most of the time and the weather is rough? The answer is simple. I love the atmosphere of being in the mountains alone, watching northern light and stars, feeling the energy of island and the ocean. These pictures I took on Snæfellsnes and Westfjords where I experienced really wild snowstorm. I love Iceland!

I was born in 1976 in Teplice.

I started with photography in 2003 after I got sick with cancer and my friend brought me a camera to hospital to make me feel better and come to other thoughts. Since then I’m trying to capture everything interesting what is going on around me.

Since 2012 photography is my serious job and I can say I have had a chance to work on some great projects. Since 2014 I try to work to help somehow.
