It’s no fun being sick, and it gets really sad seeing sick kids – this is why three men from a commercial window cleaning company in Memphis, Tennessee, thought of a very selfless and inspiring act to cheer up kids in hospital. One day, all those at the Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital saw Spider-Man and Captain America crawling up and down their windows outside! Steve Oszaniec and his son Danny Oszaniec dressed up as Spider-Men and Jordan Emerson become Captain America, and the three did their four-hour window washing with the children staring out the windows and cheering for their heroes.

Another similar super hero visit happened on January 10, at All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida. A team of window washer from the Clearwater’s High Rise Window Cleaners also dressed up as Spider-Men and waved at the cheering children while cleaning the windows. Specialists say that such distraction therapy is highly beneficial for the children, as it helps to get their mind of the pain. The volunteer Spider-Men also admit that children looked ecstatic for a while.

Such acts of kindness really restore your faith in humanity, don’t they?
