The love I have for these wonderful wild red squirrels I try to express in my photos.
After many years following them and use them in photos with props, I try to come up with new ideas all the time. That is why themes like Valentine open new creativity and fun.
Most photos are exactly how I have shot them, the photos with 2 squirrels in it, I shot 2 photos of the same scene, but squirrels standing in different positions and stack them together in photoshop.
I am Geert Weggen, a 48 year old Dutch/Swedish artist. An article was last month published in National Geographic on 8 pages and this month a photo was chosen of 1 of the best 50 from over 100000 photos in the Sony photo contest.
