The 27-year-old man revealed that he is married to his 24-year-old wife who is now 6 months pregnant. Having in mind their situation and that his wife wishes to become a stay-at-home mom after giving birth, the narrator has started looking for a better-paying job. The man was lucky to find a position in the IT sector where he would get a three times larger salary compared to what he earns now.

One of the interview parts included a test that helps the workplace to see how competent the interviewee is. The requirements included doing the test all by yourself, searching on the internet, and remaining silent. The interview was conducted online, so the narrator was doing it at home. Knowing this, the husband told this to his wife and asked her to be silent during that time.

The man continued by presenting the situation, stating that only 15 minutes into his test, his wife came knocking on the door, asking him to open a jar for her. The husband didn’t reply as this would mean the end of the task, hoping that his wife would understand that he really could not talk right then. However, the woman found other ways to disrupt and annoy her husband: she was talking loudly on the phone, was playing dance music, etc.

The situation made the man make mistakes during the test, so he failed it. The narrator later revealed that this was his 5th interview that he’d flopped because of his wife. This made him completely upset, so he said that after she gives birth, she will have to get back to work as she just ruined another opportunity for him to have a well-paid job. The situation escalated into an argument as the woman didn’t agree that it was possible for her to be silent this whole time.

Are these job interviews for permanent remote positions,because I'm prepared to bet this girl's (deliberate word choice, she's not a woman until she grows up) SAHM attitude will extend to interrupting OP during the work day to change nappies/diapers, feed the baby. This is not, and will never be an equal partnership.
I was thinking the opposite, that his new position may make him travel a lot.

I really want to know more about how the wife acts on a daily basis. I find it unfathomable that someone would ruin FIVE interviews like this. There must be other red flag behaviors happening, because she just sounds like an insanely childish, inconsiderate, and infuriating person. There is no way this lady is normal aside from this.
