“Who Is Next”, an artwork by Italian contemporary pop artist and activist aleXsandro Palombo as tribute after the death of George Floyd in the US. The artwork against racism with George Floyd’s face on the posters put up by Bart Simpson on the walls of Milan.

On the Manifesto the slogan “Just Because I Am Black” followed by the statements: I get oppressed – I have to fear the police – I was taught to make myself less threatening – I get labeled suspect – People think I am a threat.

These are just some of the many testimonies drawn from the daily reality of black people.

Palombo immortalizes the Simpsons in a family portrait together with the hooded statue of liberty as a member of the Ku Klux Klan and Bart Simpson writes “Who is next?” on the famous blackboard with a Simpson-yellow chalk.

The African American version of the Simpson family as a corrosive portrait of the American Dream, a reflection on the racial crisis that is affecting the USA and the rest of the world.
