Cat Owner Shares Breathtaking Photos Of Her Maine Coon, And It’s Crazy How Big It Is
The Maine Coon cat looks like a mythical creature from a fairytale. As one of the biggest cat breeds, even just lounging on a couch the fluffy cats look majestic. Unsurprisingly the owners of these gorgeous kitty cats love to show them off, and I think we can all agree that they are even more instagrammable than some humans.
One such cat owner created an Instagram account that features her Maine Coon Lotus. So far the cute cat model has 49.5k followers, and when you look at her photos, it’s easy to see why. Scroll down below to check out Lotus making everyday cat life seem glamorous! And after looking at these biggest cat specimens, I think you won’t be questioning their Internet fame any longer, as they indeed are exceptional.

Share on FacebookThis handsome boy is my Maine C**n/Russian Blue mix! While he's not as long as Lotus he is still a whopping 20 lbs!! The bigger the fur baby the better the cuddles!! 20171203_1...a9facb.jpg
We have a Maine C**n, Mr. Bailey, He weights 30-35 lbs and is so lovable. He was rescued by our son in law 12 hours before he would have been put down. He is a great cat. Mr-Bailey-...b46cc1.jpg
It's luck that they are better mannered and more docile than an average house cat.

I have a gorgeous pedigree 3 year old Maine c**n the same colour, called Orson. However, although he's an adult and fully grown, he's smaller than the average pet cat. He was the runt out of a large litter of 14 and 1/5 of the size of his brothers and sisters. The breeder neglected him, didn't advertise him or anything and just by chance we visited her house a few hours before she was going to "humanly dispose of him" (read break his neck and kill him) I was sat on her sofa when I felt this little brush of fluff against my ankle and picked him up. He was tiny and could sit in the palm of my hand! He snuggled up on my chest and his piercing blue eyes engaged with mine. I asked her about him and why she never mentioned him and she explained his size, how he wouldn't get money that the others would and thus her plan and I told her I would pay his vet fees and take him with me. He's one of 5 cats I have and I'm sure he knows I saved him that day.
Many years ago I adopted a cat from RSPCA who looked almost exactly like this. He had been treated *very* badly, and displayed behavior that would be called PTSD in humans. Now I am guessing that I had the privilege of living with a Maine C**n for a while. With lots of care and love he rehabilitated very well. And had a lovely life for a few years. Still I miss him.
