I thought this quiz would be great for me as I love the game "Timeline" when you have to guess when various inventions/events took place. However, the information in this quiz is inaccurate, and is driving me bonkers. . . . The first commercially produce toilet paper was produced in the 1850s. However, it was not a toilet roll, it was individual sheets of medicated paper. It wasn't until 40 years later that a toilet ROLL was produced, made of a continuous, perforated roll of toilet tissue.
"the invention of 5G" answer is wrong. "5G was developed in the 3GPP standardisation body. Its work on 5G began in 2015, with the first specification released in 2017." Source: https://5gobservatory.eu/about/what-is-5g .... The answer given was "2019". That was the date 5G started being deployed, not the date of its invention.
The answer to the WWW question is wrong. It was not 1991, but 1993 that the WWW was made public. Here's what is says on CERN's page on the birth of the web, "On 30 April 1993, CERN put the World Wide Web software in the public domain. " Source: https://www.home.cern/science/computing/birth-web
Question 18, John Logic Baird, whilst inventing the television, did also demonstrate a colour version of the screen a few days after he did his first demonstration. So the colour tv wasn’t invented in the 1950s.

Worst quiz! Many of the "correct answers" are wrong. Many technologies did not suddenly spring into life, they evolved into their present form. Therefore there is no one set date for a technology's beginning. Also, just knowing dates is not knowing history. An understanding of a technologies origin, evolution, and impact on society is knowing the history of an invention.
To prove my point, what year was the automobile invented? There are dozens of correct answers.
