I'm looking for book recs! I'm in love with YA btw

Anything by Tamora Pierce, Tanya Huff, and Mercedes Lackey.
Strongly suggest The Enchanted Forest Chronicle by Patricia Wrede. Its hilarious and starts off with a Princess who decides to take herself to the dragons to be imprisoned because she doesn't want to marry a prince and gets better from there.
Tamora Pierce - Legit the Tortall series or The Magic Circle series, which is basically all her books but they're really good. She's a YA author but I always recommend her to anyone.
Tanya Huff - She isn't YA but she's a great author. She's got the Keeper's Chronicles series which is one of the funniest things I have ever read. She's written so much, and she also has LGBTQ characters and is apart of the community. She pre-dates the rest of the alphabet mafia so that's why I'm using it that way.
Mercedes Lackey is one of the authors I've been reading the longest. Everyone should give her a try including anything in her Valdemar series. Her Bardic series is also another I've been in love with forever. She's also LGBTQ friendly author and if you haven't heard of The Last Herald-Mage trilogy you should check it out. Vanyel is one of my favorite characters of all time in everything I've ever read.
