Andhika Muksin is fascinated with Disney. He has been photoshopping Pocahontas, Ariel, and other famous characters into celebrity photos for quite some time, but now he decided to switch things up. Instead of "inserting" the Disney princesses into reality, he brought reality into their lives. Bear with me. Muksin has stripped away the glam surrounding our beloved gals and replaced it with pizzas, unInstagrammable selfies, and other fundamental everyday problems.

"My [history] with Disney goes way back," Andhika told Bored Panda. "It all started with a VHS tape of Alice in Wonderland I received as a birthday gift when I was about 5 or 6. I was obsessed with it. I would watch it almost every single day after school. Not long after that, the Disney Renaissance era started, the obsession became a bit out of control and cemented my status as a Disney fanboy."

"These cartoon characters have stuck with me since childhood, so it kinda came naturally for me to make fan arts of them. But instead of "remaking" them in my own aesthetic style, I put a naughty twist on them. Over time, as I kept posting my Disney characters in real life stuff, I noticed that more and more people re-shared them on their Instagram, and I got more and more positive DMs and comments as well. So I guess people liked them." The artist said there's no particular method for deciding which Disney characters or pictures to edit. Andhika said he usually get ideas at the most random time.
"I think that Disney characters blend into our everyday lives so well because lots of people, including myself, grew up with them. These characters are constantly revitalized through wide arrays of innovations. From Broadways, Disneyland rides, merchandise, and now Live Action remakes. These things brought them to iconic status. So I guess they blend so well with our everyday life because they are so well known."

After seeing their favorite cartoon characters in real life situations, people are already asking Muksin to give them back their childhood memories. Judging from his regular uploads, however, it doesn't seem that the Indonesian Photoshop artist is going to stop shattering them anytime soon.
