I think I’m falling in love with Western Australia. The return trip of 766km had me wowing at sandplains, sand dunes, the desert, and the amazing beaches. Having just moved to Perth 6 months ago, it was our first time to travel north of the city. Now we can’t wait for it to get warmer so we can come back and explore even more.
We saw huge western grey kangaroos, a wedge-tailed eagle, cormorants, a shingle, marine stromatolites, the Pinnacles among other things. More importantly, we got to bathe in glorious sunsets by the beach after a long winter.
