When we adopted our lovely Minnie Minx we decided that we wanted to do something to support Chimney Farm International Dog Rescue and raise awareness of the plight of the Romanian stray. We put an appeal out for old horseshoes and got a boot full from the local Polo Club and a couple of Pallets! from the Metropolitan Police Horse Training Centre. We clean and make the horseshoes into sculpture and useful items to sell. We started Horseshoes4Hounds in April 2016 and set a target of £1000 in the first year, to date we have raised £1235. Our last fundraiser for the year is The Little Silver Tree. Made with love and given with hope The Little Silver Tree carries a sentiment that will resonate with any animal lover.
