Back in art school, we were a small group of friends who bonded over the magic of animation and CG. We would work tirelessly to create the best possible visuals and stories through our art; there’s simply something about bringing your inner world and ideas to life in moving pictures that can’t be beaten.

After we all graduated in 2014 and 2016 from The Animation Workshop and Ravensbourne, we went on to pursue our professional careers in films and games. Collectively, we’ve worked on many big Hollywood Films such as Avengers: Infinity Wars, Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 2, Pacific Rim: Uprising, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald and many more.

Working in big teams in the world of Hollywood is amazing and you feel like you’re part of something bigger, however, there’s something about the intimacy of working closely in a small team that’s truly special. That’s why we created Giri Guru; an adorable animation with an unexpected twist.

We spent 2 years of our spare time creating 15 short animations. With a focus on appealing characters and relatable short stories, Giri Guru is a visual snack. Or as one of our team members sometimes call it, “Popcorn Animation”. Like any snack, Giri Guru is here to make you feel good and we hope the fun we had making it will spill through the screen.
