We Make Whimsical Ornaments Out Of Ping Pong Balls To Help Wildlife Conservation
We hope our hobby brings a smile to your face. My husband and I make a line of whimsical and funny ornaments out of ping pong balls. Yep, ping pong balls. He is a sculptor, I am a painter, and as biologists we both love wildlife. We hand sculpt and paint each ornament, and as such each is unique, durable, and one of a kind. We donate a portion of each sale to wildlife conservation or pet welfare, causes close to our hearts!
It started one Christmas after we made a few as a present. After seeing a little chickadee all puffed up in the cold, we had the idea to use a round shape as a base for a silly, cute ornament. That shape: repurposed old ping pong balls. One bird led to more birds, wildlife, and even pets, and Potbellies Ornaments was born! As silly as they are, we try to stay accurate to each species. And the rest, as they say, is history.
