We found body parts in 400+ English words and turned them into rebuses, which you can watch come to life in our cartoon below.

This video was made as a trailer for an iOS app that we worked on with Franky Aguilar (99centbrains) and just released this week. You can download the app for free on the Apple App Store and start making your secret messages, visual poems and collages.

With BlabberLab, we wanted to make a fun tool for folks to play with words and images. BlabberLab’s hand-drawn characters aren’t far from hieroglyphs, emojis and comics. And the implications of BlabberLab go beyond the act of creating: if there’s a palm in “napalm” and an ear in “tear,” then what else are we not seeing?
