I have a dog named Alfie and he loves ice cream and I love taking photos of him when he is eating it and that gave me the idea for this little photo project.
I asked my friends, if I could take photos of their dog eating ice cream and they happily agreed.
I know, that ice cream is not the best treat for dogs and some of them can be lactose intolerant, but most of them had eaten ice cream before and just to be safe we used lactose free ice creams.
Anyway we had a great time taking these shots and the dogs were so cute and funny.Enjoy the photos,I hope you like them :)

Zoltan, your response was honest and good, despite the tempting opportunity to respond in kind... My shih tzus and I would be happy to eat ice cream with you & your pup any day. Those who attempt to speak for a worthy cause, such as diabetes, or cancer ect. do not need to be negative or nasty. The facts generally speak for themselves. I think it is very important to choose your initial words a little more wisely and maybe people will actually hear what you say, and not the way you said it first.
i think that Zoltan was kind too, and i didnt meant to be mean with him.i don't know why i'm sarcartic, maybe because i'm french lol, or because i'm a scientist lol(sarcastic with myself too).i was trying to be fun like the post were supposed to be and not patronizing with "all my science" like scientists do very often.i'm an ethologist specialized in animal wellfare and "facts" dont speak for themeselves.you can eat sand regularly and think that if you have stomach ache it's because you have eaten sushi last day for comparison.just be careful with carnivorous, event with small doses it hurts very bad to eat something not meant to be treated by your organism.(not patronizing, just helping your animals)
Cassius I see what you're saying. Its often difficult to get the true feel for the tone in just written word so its easy to add our own flare on it depending on our own imaginations, moods, and even past experience. Also I didn't mean that the facts don't need to be said, just that its easier to hear them presented without negativity, which I understand now that you didn't mean to come off that way. I think it is an excellent point to bring out that pups are carnivorous and that ice cream should not be a staple in any dogs meal. My dad used to feed one of our wiener dogs everything he ate, until one day we thought she was going to die because their was blood coming out of both ends :( She's okay th
glad she's OK now!And glad that you survive being from a french scientist world: frenchies are sarcastics, scientists are too, french scientists are the worst!^^
Shes ok now tho! And my dad finally listens to me and my mom now that the vet confirmed everything we had been saying all along. So I definitely am glad it has been mentioned, and also glad you decided to explain your use of sarcasm, being from a French scientist world myself ;)
I've had very healthy and happy dogs. I'm sure an ice-cream once in a time will do not harm to them...
No it won´t, on Twitter I am friends with some vets (White Cross Vets), they once told me it´s okay for a pup to get a little bit of ice cream as a treat now and then, and they should know it as vets. I do not have a pup, but 2 senior tomcats, now and then they get some cream as treat, and they´re what the Bavarians ´d call "pumperlgsund" (very healthy) and NOT overweight.
Only chocolate icecream, ice cream with coffee/moccha taste (with caffeine) or ice cream that contains xylit as sweetener can be toxic for pups.
Horus & Anthrax ftw!!! Soooo cute!!!!
I known,they are :) here's another photo of them :) DSC_3696-5...f258c5.jpg
