This is my first video upload! Anyway, Adventure Paws is my dog walking business that I’m starting in Santa Monica and Pacific Palisades. I’m going to be taking dogs on adventure hikes through the mountains, which is a great alternative to the traditional dog walking or dog daycare environment. I’d like to help dogs in the pet shelters by taking them anytime I have free space in my van, so I went to the Santa Monica animal shelter to talk to them about volunteering. Turns out it’s a lengthy process and I probably won’t be able to take them in my van, but after my application gets approved in a couple months I can probably take them for leash walks around their facility. The purpose of Adventure Paws is not just to help walk clients dogs, but to help the shelter dogs as well. I’m currently trying to figure out how that’s all going to work, but we will see!
