Victim blaming is a dangerous logical fallacy in which the victims are blamed for the actions of the people bullying or abusing. Katarzyna Babis, an art student in Poland, decided to tackle this issue with simple comics that illustrate the problems with different forms of victim blaming.

"Lots of my friends experience such situations in their [lives] and I wanted to help them," Babis told MTV. "I wanted to turn my social media popularity into something meaningful. I think it’s really, really important to know you’re not alone with your problem."

I've been dealing with depression since my teens. I'm now 60, for awhile I was doing pretty OK, then the meds stopped being effective, they do that doesn't seem fair. But nothing seems fair right now. We, my Doctor and I as well as my husband who is a Board Certified Psycho- Pharmacist are trying to find to find a medication or medications that are as effective as what I was on. It's hard, I just want to be happy again, and this affects everyone in my family. Thank you for this, maybe it will help people understand that getting out and working or doing other stuff doesn't work. And you just can't "Cheer UP!"

I was raped when i was 18 after the incident, my parents would tell me to leave the room because i was a reminder of their embarrassment.

I think the caption completely misses the point. Using 'girl' as an insult means there's something wrong with being a girl. Heads up, it's not about the wounded daddy. It's about his wounded daughter. It's about all females. A dad getting called a girl should be thinking about who's listening, not himself. Back up your daughter or wife or mom, teach your son a lesson.

I thought it was a son being called a girl as an "insult" for being cuddled by a parent. The cartoon is about the little boy I'm his dad's arms, not about the dad. The caption writer seems to be making the same point that you're making. At least that's how I interpreted it.

I didn't really get this one either. Unless the child in the fathers arms is crying and someone is calling the little boy a girl for crying

Doesn't the caption refer to the little boy in his daddy's arms? He's "a girl" because he acts "like a baby" when scared or feeling insecure????

Why if someone tells a woman she looks like a man, she would get offended but men won't? Most of the times the "like a little girl" 'insult' refers to being fiscally weak and inexperienced. Like "you are cutting that tree like a little girl" - how would most little girls cut a tree? For sure passionately for sure, but fiscally they won't have the ability to do it and probably won't have the knowledge to do it. The same when you say a woman she looks like a man, it just refers to going the wrong way for that specific task. Or at least that should be the intention, 'cause then if I tell you that you are "cooking with your feet" would I be insulting feet? Hahaha like I said I think that's the original intention of the 'insult' is more like a sarcasm. Because if someone would tell me that I serve tea (for example) like a little girl, that would be (for me) more like a compliment wouldn't it? But I'm not ok with using it as an insult.

It shouldn't be a problem since it is part of being a parent.

Frankly, a lot of gay people have a lot better fashion sense than straights!
