Victim blaming is a dangerous logical fallacy in which the victims are blamed for the actions of the people bullying or abusing. Katarzyna Babis, an art student in Poland, decided to tackle this issue with simple comics that illustrate the problems with different forms of victim blaming.

"Lots of my friends experience such situations in their [lives] and I wanted to help them," Babis told MTV. "I wanted to turn my social media popularity into something meaningful. I think it’s really, really important to know you’re not alone with your problem."

I've been dealing with depression since my teens. I'm now 60, for awhile I was doing pretty OK, then the meds stopped being effective, they do that doesn't seem fair. But nothing seems fair right now. We, my Doctor and I as well as my husband who is a Board Certified Psycho- Pharmacist are trying to find to find a medication or medications that are as effective as what I was on. It's hard, I just want to be happy again, and this affects everyone in my family. Thank you for this, maybe it will help people understand that getting out and working or doing other stuff doesn't work. And you just can't "Cheer UP!"

I've also been dealing with depression (or actually a bipolar disease) for a couple of years now.. I'm on medication and sometimes doing better, sometimes worse. I hope one day it will just go away and my life will be back to normal. I wish the same to you JanMoore and thcollegestudent!

I have been fighting with depression and anxiety for as long as I can remember. The best message I have ever received was simple: "Stay strong!" I made me thing and I came to conclusion that I AM strong, cause living every day with those thoughts and feelings indeed requires a lot of strength. Also, relaxation time is what I need and those who understand even though they have never experienced that, are the people I respect.

My personal favorite was "Those drugs are bad for you, you're no better than a drug addict. If you just think positive, you'll be all right."

Many times people "tell" others online that they need to talk to someone, usually a phoneline on suicide prevention, when they are depressed. That makes me feel very angry. While talking can help in some cases, when it goes on for more than a week or two, you NEED medical intervention, or you will die from it. You don't tell someone with cancer to go talk to someone to be cured! And to those who say taking meds for depression is wimpy, I remind them that they wouldn't take insulin away from a diabetic, so don't think I don't need my meds either!

I suspect that I have an undiagnosed bipolar disorder. I also have adult ADD, social anxiety disorder, and likely some ASD. If I focused on all the imperfections in myself then I begin to feel like a human wreckage - Like an island that formed out of a bunch of garbage accumulating in the middle of the ocean. But then I catalogue all the things I'm doing right in life in spite of my faults: I'm a computer technician with his own self-started repair/consulting business who does graphic art and webpage design on the side, I'm self-teaching my way to branch from hardware/software support into networking, recently I began learning the ins-and-outs of Linux and even plan to transition my Windows-based home network and systems over to Linux distros, I can type 100+ WPM, have a passion for creative writing and storytelling, and even with all my mental disorders I still possess and I.Q. of 127. So we're not weak because we're bipolar; we're strong because we push through the suffering.

I'm bipolar and have been since I was 12, although I wasn't diagnosed until I was 22 years old. That's 10 years of acting crazy, of thinking I was crazy and being told by everyone I was crazy. I thought having a diagnosis to hold up and say "See? I'm NOT crazy!" Unfortunately the way people with bipolar are depicted in the media makes it almost worse to tell people. *The "crazy chick" who's stalking her exbf in some movie, well she's secretly bipolar!* *The weird neighbor who has loud fights and louder sex with a revolving door of boyfriends and once left a note on your door pinned in place with a butcher's knife, well it turns out she's bipolar!* I've been struggling with bipolar disorder for 22 years now, and yes I have done some weird s**t, some dangerous, but only to myself. The only person who is in danger of being hurt by me, is me. Bipolar disorder is not sociopathy, it is not psychopathy, it is nothing more than a chemical imbalance in the brain.

It can affect reasoning, impulse control, and mood stability. You can go from waking up with depression to manic by lunch time. But they have made huge strides in medication for treating bipolar. Once you're on them, you're on them for life, because if you stop after taking them your bipolar comes back worse and is more difficult to treat, and every time that happens, it's harder and harder to get under control. Bipolar is not a disorder many people talk about because of the stigma associated with it, but don't let that stop you from getting help and taking control of your life again.

I think the caption completely misses the point. Using 'girl' as an insult means there's something wrong with being a girl. Heads up, it's not about the wounded daddy. It's about his wounded daughter. It's about all females. A dad getting called a girl should be thinking about who's listening, not himself. Back up your daughter or wife or mom, teach your son a lesson.

Frankly, a lot of gay people have a lot better fashion sense than straights!
