Ivanka Trump’s Awkward Conversation With World Leaders Sparks “Unwanted Ivanka” Memes (30 Pics)
Last week, world leaders gathered in Osaka, Japan, for the G20 summit. After the event, the French Presidential Palace released a video that captivated the Twittersphere.
The video shows prominent political figures such as the British Prime Minister Theresa May, French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, and the head of the International Monetary Fund Christine Lagarde.
The group of politicians was having a conversation when an odd figure tried to join the talk. The figure is Ivanka Trump trying her best to get involved in the conversation.
“As soon as you start talking about the economic aspect of it though, a lot of people start listening who wouldn't otherwise listen," said May. Trump responds to her: “And the same with the defense side I think, in terms of the whole ecosystem, it's been very male dominated.”
While the context of the conversation is unclear, people quickly started pointing out how awkward the whole situation feels. It seems like people were trying to avoid making eye contact with the US president's daughter, making the whole incident really embarrassing.
https://www.youtube.com/embed/28C1KeGdIkcAfter the video went viral, people began questioning whether Ivanka Trump belongs at an event like this, with most of them serving a harsh verdict - definitely not. And what better way to voice their opinion than using memes?
Thanks to Erin Rya who asked people to photoshop Ivanka crashing other events where she is very unwelcome, the new #UnwantedIvanka started trending over the weekend. We here at Bored Panda compiled a list of the best memes people shared. Scroll down to see them!

This is so accurate it is scary. She DEFINITELY would be a Commander's Wife! Helped to create that Hell on Earth, but surprised she has to now live in it and is not exempt from its cruelty and unfairness....

"I really don't care, do you?" - I know, that was Melania, but I'm sure Ivanka was thinking it.

I can deal with this one because no one takes her seriously. It’s her husband I cannot stand. He’s a snake.
