Marilyn Monroe is one of the greatest actresses of all time and much has been discussed about her personal life, but every now and again, new facts and chapters in the history of this great diva arise. Recently, pictures of the pregnant star have been released for the first time.
The six images were sold at an auction at the end of last year for just over $ 2,000. The reason for such a “low” value? The rich collectors invited to bid did not know the importance of the photographs.
Made outside New York’s Fox studios, they were taken on July 8, 1960, and show the diva, at age 33, exhibiting a prominent belly. About to star in the classic “The Misfits,” alongside Clark Gable and Montgomery Clift, she was in town for hair and costume tests.
