I doubt that Scots have so many words for snow. Also nr 18 contradicts itself!

Yes, I clicked that one, it's a patent nonsense. Nor is it true for the Inuit, Icelanders or other Arctic dwellers, about whom this fake-fact is often repeated. Some of the others were also a little, err, dubious, but 18 is correct, the statement is about hours, the correct answer is in minutes.

#16 No number before 1,000 contains the letter A. Then how do you pronounce 101? "One hundred and one"?

They'll tell you to drop "and." Seriously; it's considered "improper."

D**n, I could've gotten 24 but I my mouse pad detected a click just from my hovering finger. Great collection of odd facts, but I wish the myths weren't famous for being mere myths; it would've been way harder but more fun if there was pure balderdash mixed in. UPDATE: Hold on! I was correct about the shortest war! That war lasted 40 MINUTES, not 40 HOURS. I had said to myself "no way was there no war shorter than 40 hours!" and I was right!

"Egypt has more pyramids than other countries" is a lie? It doesn't say "ALL other countries", but well. Also ants do, in fact, NOT have lungs. This test is mediocre.

Am I missing something? I thought that the quiz had 'ants do not have lungs' as one of the 'true' options. I'd double-check but it would mean re-doing the quiz.

It's a brand name, from a recipe developed by an American baker using German's Sweet Chocolate.

#23 Aren't Eskimos the one with 400 words for snow?

RamiRudolph, that's a common myth. There are many different Inuit and Yupik/Yup'ik groups speaking various related Eskaleut languages, chiefly Inuit, Yupik, and Sirenik, but even with regional variations the total is probably around 200 words for snow. EDIT: Why am I being downvoted for answering a question?
