Inspiration can come from anywhere. I was having a conversation with my grandmother about the old times with my grandfather. Its always an enjoyable time being able to share old memories and see my her light up.
We landed on the subject of all of the types of jewelry that my grandfather got for her over the years. On top of all of the jewelry she has purchased and never used. A spark hit in my mind and I asked her to show me some of them. Thinking maybe I can re-purpose the ones she never wears.
Roughly two hours later, there are jewelry boxes all over the place. Necklaces hanging off of each other. Rings scattered all over the place. You get the picture. But the one thing I didn’t expect was hearing a story about almost every one. As if we went a mile farther down memory lane. Now boarding, Nostalgia!
At the end of it all. I was left with a hand full of pearl earrings, necklaces, cameos, and some other gems to break down and rebuild how I see their beauty. I wouldn’t trade those times and feel good moments for anything.
