Our trip stretched from Tokyo to Yamaguchi with a dozen stops in between, each featuring its own brand of oddity.

From weed-stranded jellyfish in Naoshima, to greedy peanut-hoarding monkeys in Arashiyama or ravenous swarms of rabbits on Bunny Island (Okunoshima) these are some of my most memorable moments.
