For my whole life, I’ve been exploring the integration of opposites and how to transcend different worlds, whether be through business, photography, or fine dining

In May 2019, I went on a 5 weeks journey to explore my gender identity, sexuality and gender expression

For this adventure, I started close to home in San Jose (Costa Rica), then I went to Portland because it’s “the Queerest city in the USA”, Los Angeles because of friends I wanted to be with and who could help me reflect on myself, and the Philippines because one of the countries with the largest transgender population.

Through this journey, I rediscovered lost parts of myself and learned to love parts of myself I was ashamed of

I learned that fashion can be a tool to highlight the boundaries that exist in our minds

Fashion can be an expression of who we are beyond the need for social validation

Fashion for the purpose of exploring our identity becomes a process for personal growth and self reflection

Fashion can become a tool to create fearlessly honest human connections

Fashion can be a way to be ourselves without the rejection of those who are different

As a result of this adventure, I am sharing what I learned as well as the questions that emerged on Instagram (@noamkostucki) and Facebook (Noam Kostucki)

I look forward to reading your comments, and your experience of our work
