Tokyo Glitched: 30 Artworks Deconstructing The Metropolis

Tokyo Glitched is an art series of digital photographs edited and distorted created by artist Simon Kalajdjiev, based in Tokyo. It is art made in motion, dubbed by the artist “art en route.” The photos are taken with a smartphone and edited and posted while walking around. The city itself is in motion, its buildings and roads melting, flowing, rearranging and twisting. This art series reflects the effect of the digital revolution on our lives and the disorienting yet exciting feeling of living in Tokyo.
