Dear John, I am only forced to believe that you are one of those people you are so passionately ranting about. On my 6 months I've been walking narrow streets day and night, high street or suburbs or forests even. Never was I EVER threatened, never seen those 'gangs' you are talking about and was never approached by a rude begger - if they talked to me, they wished me a good day. No abusive drunks either. No drug users I've seen, except for ocasional smell of weed, which is less harmful than your abusive words. Yes, the boarded shops and buildings are sad to see, but that;s not anyone's fault - please, rent it, do your business, wake this town up if you're unhappy, I know one day I will. Not sure about the far rights either, or the neo nazis, as we're foreigners and we've never heard a word against that. And the pictures of the town - plenty in my facebook page. I suggest you should go visit London or any major city where even in the best neighbourhood you are truly afraid.

Why are people so mad that you say 90% of the people should be incinerating. That's providing jobs in the waste disposal industry. Wait, do they think you mean incinerated? To be fair, 90% of most towns should be incinerated to either way their anger isn't justified.

Would you like to add why you didn't mention London in your rant against Dover, - which had 4 - yes FOUR - knife deaths over Christmas alone. Which has had hundreds of knife deaths, moped attacks and thefts, acid attacks, gang warfare??/ It's not Dover that gone to the dogs. It's the UK. Most of it, lots of Wales -north - has escaped. But the entire UK has been destroyed by your vile politicians, who live in fancy houses in protected neighbours where they are shielded from the results of their utterly, unbelievably stupid polices. The part of Dover that was there hundreds of years ago, will still be there when you finally work out what to do with your Government sponsored low lifes!!

Hey John McPoop: EVERY town has crappy areas, regardless of wherein the world you visit. You can choose to see the glass as half-empty and look only at the negative aspects, or you can choose to see the glass as half-full and focus on the beautiful areas, as Arnolda is doing. I was going to mention the EDL / BF-FF. Property prices are a whole lot cheaper in Dover, if you really mean it. The problem with Dover is lack of demand, for some of the reasons given here. Margate is actually nicer, a fabulous beach, and probably no more expensive.
