We all know baby animals are cute, but senior pets definitely deserve more love! Post a picture of a pet you have or used to have that grew very old. I can't wait to see them!
This Is Bear. He Was 18 At The Time This Picture Was Taken In 2018. He Had No Claws ( Front Or Back), Half An Ear And Mowed Like A Demanding Crotchety Old Man. We Rescued Him From A Bad Situation ( Partially Explains The No Claws) In 2014. He Was My Best Friend For 4 Years. Miss Him Everyday. Vet Said We Did Good For Keeping Him Alive That Long. He Died Due To A Really Large Tumor Under His Tongue They Couldn't Remove.
My Sweet Little Man, Griff, A Few Weeks Before He Passed On. He Was A Rescue From A Hoarder Situation, So We Didn't Know Exactly How Old He Was, But He Was My Sweet Boy For About 13yrs, So I Would Guess He Lived To 15-16. I Was Able To Hold Him In His Last Minutes...he Looked Me In The Eyes So Intensely...like He Was Trying To Burn His Memory Into My Soul...and He Already Had. That Stare, I Still Tear Up And Get The Chills Thinking About How Intense He Was. Obviously He Knew We Were At Our 'Goodbye For Now' Point.i Felt That He Was Trying To Say Everything He Needed To Say. It Was Devastating, But The Joy He Gave Me Was Worth It.
Meet Cinnamon - 23 Years Young When This Picture Taken. She Was My Mom's Rescue. I Am Completely Convinced The Only Reason She Left Me Was To Be With Her Original Mom. They Are Both Very Missed.
